Open day and night, the reception hands out the morning newspapers and keeps track of the neighborhood’s good addresses. Guests often leave with a restaurant name scribbled on a piece of paper rather than a tourist map.

The rooms, doubles, triples, or family suites for larger groups, favor simplicity rather than impact. Air-conditioned, heated, equipped with a desk and a private bathroom. The spaces remain modest in the standard rooms, a choice that shifts attention to the bedding, often praised, and to soundproofing that holds up despite the proximity to the station.

On the ground floor, the morning buffet is set up early. Still-warm pastries, eggs, cold cuts, and a selection of fruit that changes with the season. You will find business travelers passing through between appointments and families taking their time, with luggage still parked near the elevator.

A public parking lot is just a stone’s throw away for those arriving by car, and Strasbourg-Entzheim Airport is about a twenty-minute drive.

One last note for latecomers: breakfast runs quite late in the morning, enough to avoid rushing after a Strasbourg evening that lasted a little longer than planned.
