The menu leans toward Alsace: sauerkraut cooked by the book, venison stew marinated for long hours, goose foie gras with gewurztraminer that many never want to leave once they have tasted it. For dessert, the kougelhopf ice cream with Alsace kirsch is a safe bet. The wine cellar, selected by the Erb family, covers all the French wine regions, with a special place reserved for Alsace.

On the ground floor of the annex building, a relaxation area awaits those who want to extend the break, with an indoor pool, sauna, hammam and jacuzzi, and massages available on request from morning until evening. Few guests think to book it upon arrival. It is often the best surprise of the second day.

Outside, the cathedral is a few minutes away on foot, and Petite France is a little farther on. The Porte de l’Hôpital tram stop is less than two hundred meters away, convenient for heading to the station or continuing on to Kehl. For those arriving by car, several public parking lots surround the neighborhood.
